Tribute

I have decided that, once a week, I will do a post that is a tribute to someone I know and love! Why? Because I need something other than my monotone life to blog about. (Or I need to spice up my life a bit... kinda risky). No, it's not that my life is horribly boring (which it most certainly is NOT!), it's just that I would rather talk to you all about people other than me! Kapish?

So Person Number One is.....


My fabulous cousin Jamilyn Haban!!

When I was growing up, Jamilyn and her family lived in Payson and we lived in crazy places so we didn't know each other very well. Plus, she was older than me so I was the little squirt :) The first time I really remember talking with her and being with her was at her wedding in 2004 (I think that's the right year). Anyway she was so beautiful and she married the sweetest man named Kameron and has the sweetest baby boy named Kason. This last August, Kameron died. He had been in the hospital for a long time and it was really hard on both him and Jamilyn and also Kason although I'm sure he didn't really understand what was going on. When I heard about Kameron I just cried and cried for Jamilyn. I hurt so bad knowing the hurt she was feeling. I couldn't imagine losing my eternal companion. But you know what? I don't think they have any regrets because they loved each other so fully and they appreciated each other. And that is what I'm trying to do in my marriage.

Her strength has and continues to amaze me. She is a beautiful and strong woman who is being made stronger through the fires of adversity.
